    The Telangana High Court has expressed strong anger over a food poisoning incident at Maganur ZP High School in Narayanapet district. The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of schoolchildren.

    During the hearing, Chief Justice Alok Aradhe of the High Court remarked that food poisoning in a school is an extremely serious issue. He questioned the responsibility of officials, asking, “Are the officers sleeping?” The Chief Justice emphasized the gravity of the matter and criticized the lack of accountability.

    The court further questioned, “What would happen if the officers themselves missed meals three times a week? Would they wait for children to die before responding?” These sharp comments highlighted what the court described as negligence on the part of the authorities. It also pointed out that the state government does not appear to be taking the issue seriously.

    The High Court directed the government counsel to submit a detailed response within a week. The court’s firm stance underscores the need for immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future.
