The Pakistan High Commission school in the national capital has suspended its activities due to low enrolment. The school catered to the needs of children of the mission’s staff, which decreased after Islamabad downgraded its strength in 2020. The school was never open to the public and exclusively catered to the needs of children of the High Commission staff. The decision was made after the current academic year ended due to low enrolment levels caused by the downgraded strength of the High Commission. The diplomatic strength of the High Commission was halved in June 2020 upon the request of the host country.
