The Southwest Monsoon is active in the Telugu states right now. Officials from the Meteorological Center say there will be heavy rains over the next three days.

A low-pressure system formed in the Bay of Bengal but has since weakened over the Chhattisgarh region. This will likely bring rain to coastal areas and Rayalaseema within the next 24 hours.
