The Southwest Monsoon is active in the Telugu states right now. Officials from the Meteorological Center say there will be heavy rains over the next three days.

A low-pressure system formed in the Bay of Bengal but has since weakened over the Chhattisgarh region. This will likely bring rain to coastal areas and Rayalaseema within the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department has warned of strong winds along the northern coast. Fishermen are advised not to go out to sea because of the dangerous conditions.

In Telangana, the Hyderabad Meteorological Center has also issued a warning for heavy rains over the next two days. The low-pressure area is now concentrated in North Chhattisgarh and is expected to stay over East Madhya Pradesh.

Officials predict moderate to heavy rainfall in various districts across Telangana. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning. Wind gusts could range between 40 to 50 km/h, which brings additional concerns.

Residents of Hyderabad can expect light rain, while other areas in the state prepare for more significant rainfall. Authorities are urging people to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions during this period of bad weather.
