Hyderabad: Telangana has been named the best state for food safety regulations, according to Health Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha. He mentioned that hostels in schools and hospitals’ canteens will be closely watched for food safety.
The Minister held a meeting at the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust office, where he directed officials to enhance enforcement of the FSSAI Act. This includes collaborating with various government departments such as the Telangana Medical Infrastructure Development Corporation and the Institute of Preventive Medicine.
Rajanarsimha stressed the importance of monitoring food safety in educational institutions and healthcare facilities. He wants to ensure that all departments are working together to enforce regulations and keep the public safe.
