A headmaster at Zilla Parishad High School in Vattemla, Rajanna Sircilla district, is using social media and AI to boost student enrollment. Kadarla Suryanarayana has a history of innovative ideas to help students, including a humanity wall and mock elections. He believes in hands-on learning and previously used a public address system to attract more students to government schools.

Suryanarayana’s latest initiative involves creating a video with an AI avatar promoting the benefits of ZPHS, Vattemla, and other government schools in Telangana. His daughter, studying B Tech at IIITDM-Kancheepuram, inspired him to use AI technology for the campaign. The video highlights features like English medium instruction, qualified teachers, mid-day meals, free textbooks, uniforms, and digital lessons via the T-Sat channel.

The AI video is being shared on social media platforms like Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Suryanarayana hopes that by involving his friends and older students from his school, they can encourage more students to enroll in government schools. The campaign’s main goal is to increase admissions and showcase the advantages of ZPHS and similar institutions.
