On Saturday, Ghosh held a meeting with poultry industry representatives, the Director of Animal Husbandry, and other senior officials at the Secretariat. The meeting focused on preventing further losses in the poultry sector due to these unexpected bird deaths.

To manage the situation, a control room will be set up in the Directorate of Animal Husbandry. This facility will track any sudden rise in bird deaths and take necessary action.

Officials have also been directed to conduct tests on dead birds to determine the exact cause of death. Additionally, biosecurity measures are being implemented as per standard protocols to prevent the spread of any possible infections.

District Collectors have been asked to closely monitor the situation. As a precaution, the Police Department has been instructed to stop chickens from being transported into Telangana from other states.

The Forest Department has also been asked to observe the movement of migratory birds. To strengthen monitoring efforts, 24 check posts have been set up, and around 1,300 rapid response teams have been formed by the Animal Husbandry Department to handle emergencies.
