    Kharge, the AICC president, met with leaders from Haryana to discuss the strategies for the Lok Sabha polls. The meeting was held at the AICC office in New Delhi and was attended by Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Deepak Babaria, Udai Bhan, Randeep Singh Surjewala, Deepender Hooda, and others.

    During the meeting, Rahul Gandhi jokingly commented on the cheerful mood of the media waiting at the party headquarters. Kharge later wrote on X that the meeting was held to prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

    Kharge criticized the BJP-led government in Haryana, stating that they have betrayed the people of the state. He emphasized that the Congress party is committed to addressing the issues faced by different sections of society, including farmers, soldiers, youth, farm laborers, women, Dalits, backward classes, and small businessmen.

    Kharge expressed his hope for harmony and peace in Haryana and urged all communities to live together. He also mentioned that the Congress party is dedicated to moving the state towards progress.

    The Congress party has previously held similar meetings in different states, including Karnataka, to discuss preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
