Hyderabad: BRS senior leader T Harish Rao will visit the Yadagirigutta temple this Thursday. He plans to pray for the well-being of the people of Telangana. This visit comes after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made a promise in the name of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy to waive off farmers’ loans by August 15.

Harish Rao accused CM Revanth Reddy of breaking his promise. He claimed that Revanth Reddy had slandered the name of Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy by failing to fulfill his vow to cancel all farmers’ loans by the said date. Harish Rao mentioned that he, along with MLAs, MLCs, and other leaders, will visit the Yadadri temple to pray for the people, asking God to protect them from what he called the “sinful” actions of Revanth Reddy.

Further criticizing the Chief Minister, Harish Rao pointed out that while CM Revanth Reddy claimed the loans had been waived off, some ministers stated otherwise. Harish Rao also announced that he would take part in a protest (dharna) organized on Thursday in Alair. He plans to condemn Revanth Reddy for not keeping his promise, especially after making it before the Gods.
