    T Harish Rao, a senior BRS leader, spoke out against rumors about him joining the BJP on social media. He warned that legal action would be taken against those spreading false news about his political affiliations.

    The rumors also included claims that he would be promoted within the party and become the president of the State unit of BRS. Harish Rao held a press conference at Telangana Bhavan where he criticized the media, social media, and YouTube channels for sensationalizing these inaccurate reports.

    He expressed his frustration with the spread of rumors suggesting he might join either Congress or the BJP for the sake of views and likes. Harish Rao stressed the importance of honesty and dedication in leadership roles, and cautioned against the spread of misinformation.
