Hyderabad: Telangana MLA T. Harish Rao has strongly criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of failing to fulfill key promises during his first year in office. Harish Rao claimed that the Chief Minister’s governance has been marked by broken promises and inconsistent statements.
The MLA alleged that Revanth Reddy frequently changes his stance on issues. “Revanth Reddy has mastered the art of changing his words, earning a Ph.D. in it,” Harish Rao said. He also accused the Chief Minister of halting the Rythu Bandhu scheme, which provides financial aid to farmers, during the election period and shifting the blame onto others.
Harish Rao highlighted that even during the difficult COVID-19 pandemic, the Rythu Bandhu scheme was continued under their leadership. However, he claimed that under Revanth Reddy’s governance, farmers are being neglected.
In addition to this, Harish Rao criticized the government for not distributing Bathukamma sarees, a traditional gift cherished by women in Telangana. “This negligence shows how disconnected the government has become from the people and their cultural sentiments,” he added.
