    Siddipet: Minister for Finance Harish Rao criticized the Congress party for misleading people about SC, ST declarations. He stated that the people of Telangana are not naive and will not believe the false promises made by the Congress party.

    Harish Rao made these comments while distributing identity cards to 7,200 fishermen from Siddipet and Dubbaka Assembly constituencies at the Agriculture Market Yard. He mentioned that there will be a battle between the winners and liars in the upcoming Assembly elections.

    Harish Rao questioned the Congress party’s upcoming AICC meeting in Hyderabad and their intention to make false declarations. He asked why they did not fulfill these promises during their 60 years of power.

    He emphasized that the people of Telangana do not trust the Congress party due to their history of false declarations. He reaffirmed that the people have already declared their support for K Chandrashekar Rao as Chief Minister for the third time.

    Highlighting Telangana’s efforts in the welfare of fishermen, Harish Rao mentioned that the state has spent Rs.2,000 crores for their benefit. He also highlighted the significant growth in fish production, with exports from Siddipet to states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.

    Various dignitaries including MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Minister for Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil were present at the event.
