Former minister T Harish Rao has written a letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, expressing concern about the neglect of government education in Telangana under the Congress regime. Rao highlighted issues such as inadequate facilities, teacher shortages, lack of textbooks and drinking water, and delays in salary payments.

Rao praised the efforts made by Chief Minister KCR to strengthen the education system after the formation of Telangana. However, he criticized the current government for not continuing these efforts and for focusing more on political issues rather than solving public problems.

Rao also mentioned a program called ‘Mana Ooru-Mana Badi’ initiated by the previous government to develop government schools, which has not been continued by the Congress government. He noted that some schools are serving broken rice instead of fine rice to students, highlighting the deteriorating conditions in government schools.
