Former minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao criticized the Congress for attacking Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation mayor and corporators. He alleged that Congress leaders were attempting to kidnap BRS mayor J Venkat Reddy and corporators in order to pass a no-confidence motion in the Municipal Corporation.
According to Harish, Congress leaders chased the BRS mayor and corporators with 20 cars on the outer ring road, causing fear and intimidation. The BRS strongly condemned this incident against the elected representatives of the people. Harish called on the State DGP and Rachakonda Commissioner to provide immediate security to Peerzadiguda mayor and corporators.
Harish emphasized that such attacks on democratically elected public representatives are unacceptable. He warned that the BRS would not stay silent if its party members were targeted.
