Senior BRS leader and former minister T Harish Rao criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for blaming the opposition and Energy department staff instead of accepting responsibility for power cuts. Harish Rao took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to express his disapproval of CM Revanth Reddy’s comments towards Energy department employees.

He pointed out that during the previous BRS government’s time, uninterrupted 24-hour electricity was provided to all consumers. The BRS administration, along with Electricity department employees, worked together to strengthen the power supply system in the state. However, since the Congress came into power, there has been a decline in the electricity sector within just five months.

Harish Rao accused CM Revanth Reddy of trying to blame others to hide his government’s failures in adequately supplying power to industrial, domestic, and agricultural sectors. He urged the CM to focus on fixing power cuts instead of criticizing electricity employees.

It is important for a thorough review to be conducted to effectively address the issue and ensure uninterrupted power supply for all categories of consumers in Telangana.
