T Harish Rao, a senior BRS leader, accused Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy of losing his mental balance and suggested he seek medical help. He responded to the minister’s claims that he had hidden former State Intelligence Chief Prabhakar Rao in the USA. Harish Rao called this an example of deceitful tactics by the chief minister and ministers.

Harish Rao stated that he had traveled abroad with his family, but Minister Venkata Reddy alleged that he went to America to meet Prabhakar Rao. Harish Rao challenged the minister to prove this claim, offering to admit his mistake publicly if proven true. If not proven, he demanded an apology and public retraction from Venkat Reddy.

The BRS leader offered to provide details of his trip, including the country visited and the hotel stayed at, along with presenting his passport for verification. He criticized Komatireddy for making baseless claims for attention without evidence and challenged him to back up his allegations with concrete proof.

Harish Rao emphasized the need for ministers to focus on governance rather than making unfounded remarks for publicity. He urged Komatireddy to prioritize responsible actions over seeking attention on television screens.
