    The Health Minister of Siddipet, T Harish Rao, recently launched a laparoscopic machine and other medical equipment worth Rs.70 lakh at the government hospital. The equipment was donated by the Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. District Collector Prashant Kishore, ZP chairman Roja Sharma, and representatives of ECIL were also present at the launch event.

    During the event, Minister Harish Rao advised the staff of government hospitals to provide a good atmosphere for patients seeking treatment. He urged them not to get annoyed with patients and to change their attitude towards them. He mentioned that he had received complaints from the public regarding the behaviour of hospital staff towards patients.

    The Minister also highlighted that Siddipet district has achieved a record level of 99.9 percent institutional deliveries, with 66 percent of cases taking place in government hospitals and 33.9 percent in private hospitals. This achievement is a testament to the quality of healthcare services provided by the government hospitals in the district.

    Overall, the launch of the new medical equipment and the Minister’s advice to hospital staff are positive steps towards improving healthcare services in Siddipet district.
