T Harish Rao, the leader of BRS and Siddipet MLA, criticized the Congress party for failing to provide jobs to unemployed youth who supported them. He wrote a letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy outlining the demands of job seekers and urged for more job opportunities.

In his letter, Harish Rao requested the CM to select candidates for Group 1 posts in a 1:100 ratio and increase the number of Group 2 and Group 3 positions. He also called for the immediate identification of two lakh jobs, the announcement of a job calendar as promised, and the prompt payment of unemployment allowance.

Despite hopes that the Congress government would address the concerns of job seekers, the cabinet meeting concluded without any discussion on fulfilling promises made to the unemployed. Harish Rao reminded the CM of his initial promise to fill two lakh jobs and provide a monthly unemployment allowance of Rs 4,000.
