Senior BRS leader T Harish Rao stated that their party will not rest until the MLAs who switched parties are no longer members and expressed confidence in winning bypolls in their constituencies. He made these remarks during a meeting with party activists in Patancheru, where he criticized MLA G Mahipal Reddy for leaving the party.
In his speech, Harish Rao highlighted the history of the party’s struggles, mentioning how KCR started the movement with a few people in 2001 despite facing conspiracies. He also recalled how former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy attempted to lure away 12 MLAs, but ultimately failed. Harish Rao emphasized the importance of staying courageous during tough times.
Encouraging the party members to remain strong, Harish Rao assured them that the party would continue to thrive despite any defections. He reminded them of their past achievements in Patancheru, such as providing infrastructure like roads, drinking water, and a stadium. Harish Rao urged everyone to stay vigilant and committed until the defected MLAs are no longer part of the party.
