    In Hyderabad, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau caught a hacker who breached the data of the Hawk Eye application used by the Police department. The bureau acted quickly after detecting the breach and traveled to Delhi to arrest the hacker, who claimed to have leaked the compromised data for a price. The hacker was apprehended and will be brought back to Hyderabad soon.

    The Cyber Security Bureau used advanced tools to uncover the hacker’s identity after he posted details of the breach online. Despite trying to hide his identity, the bureau’s personnel tracked him down in Delhi using social engineering techniques. The arrested hacker has a history of cybercrimes and was previously involved in hacking incidents.

    The investigation is ongoing to identify any other individuals involved in the case. The bureau assured that no sensitive or financial data of any user was compromised. They are also conducting thorough monitoring, assessments, and testing across all police networks and applications to prevent future breaches.

    The department will take legal action against anyone spreading false information and trying to disrupt the investigation process. Shikha Goel, the bureau’s director, commended the team for their quick work in solving the case.
