MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha criticized Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for her unacceptable behavior. Kavitha was angry about the Governor’s refusal to accept the names of nominated quota MLC candidates from the Telangana government.

Kavitha reminded the Governor that she holds a constitutional position and should act accordingly. She also stated that the BJP is against the backward class and it is important for people to recognize this.

However, Governor Tamilisai defended her actions by stating that the politicians’ names were proposed under the service category, which was not appropriate. She argued that both individuals are actively involved in politics and therefore should not be nominated under the service sector quota. The Governor also mentioned that the Cabinet rejected the proposals due to insufficient qualifications.
