Leaders from all political parties in Telangana are expressing their disapproval of the arrest of Chandrababu, the chief of TDP. Gutha Sukhender Reddy, the Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council, also condemned the arrest, stating that it is distressing to see someone with national recognition like Chandrababu being detained.
Reddy emphasized that no one should be considered guilty until the investigation is completed and the courts have made a decision on whether he is corrupt or innocent. He further criticized such arrests in the political sphere.
In a recent statement, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav expressed his sadness over the unlawful arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the Telugu Desam Party and former Chief Minister. Yadav condemned the arrest and shared his personal pain, having previously worked under Chandrababu’s leadership. He highlighted that power is not permanent and mentioned Chandrababu’s significant role in national politics. Yadav expressed his disappointment with the YCP government for its treatment of Chandrababu. He also criticized the illegal arrest of a 73-year-old individual, causing unnecessary trouble under the guise of investigation. Yadav acknowledged Chandrababu’s contributions during his tenure as Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and his efforts toward the state’s development.
