    Former CEO of Procter and Gamble India, Gurucharan Das, expressed that former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, is one of his favorite heroes. He highlighted that there is a vision behind the establishment of IT companies in Hyderabad.

    Das shared his thoughts during a literature ceremony where he discussed the ongoing development in the Hi-Tech City. He acknowledged that technological advancements are currently at the forefront and India is leading the world in the digital revolution, particularly in the field of software. He expressed his pride in this achievement and credited Chandrababu Naidu for bringing IT companies to Hyderabad. As a result, Naidu holds a special place in Das’s admiration.

    Additionally, Das mentioned that India’s economy has experienced significant growth after implementing reforms. However, he also acknowledged the challenges faced by democracy and the increasing economic disparities. Nonetheless, he emphasized that the growth in wealth has created more employment opportunities, leading to a decrease in poverty and an increase in the middle class. Das concluded by revealing that his next book will delve into this topic.

    During the event, Das discussed his latest work, ‘Another Star of Freedom,’ with Professor Vasanthi Srinivasan from Hyderabad Central University. He also collaborated with Padmanabhan on the book ‘The Great Flop of 1942.’
