    Police in Rangareddy have arrested six hooligans for causing trouble in Narsingi, Gandipet mandal. The incident occurred when the hooligans harassed a girl on her way to a nearby store. One of the accused, named Suresh, forcefully grabbed the girl and poured water on her. The situation worsened on Holi day when Suresh made inappropriate advances towards the girl, causing her distress.

    The girl managed to escape and ran home in tears. However, the hooligans became violent when the girl’s parents tried to intervene. They mocked the parents and made sarcastic remarks. Things took a tragic turn when one of the hooligans, Praveen, attacked the girl’s father with a sword, fatally injuring him. He also assaulted the mother when she tried to stop him.

    In response to this horrific incident, the police quickly arrested six individuals, including Praveen and Suresh. They were charged under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code for attempted murder, as well as the Nirbhaya Act for their serious offenses. During the investigation, authorities found four swords in possession of the accused, highlighting the dangerous nature of their activities. The incident has caused concern in the community about the safety of residents in Narsingi.
