    Shreya Ghoshal plants saplings for Green India Challenge

    The Green India Challenge is encouraging celebrities and politicians to plant saplings to increase green cover and conserve the environment. Shreya Ghoshal, a noted singer, recently took part in the GIC initiative and planted saplings in Gachibowli along with MP J Santosh Kumar, who founded GIC.

    Shreya Ghoshal praised the initiative and thanked the MP for giving her the opportunity to be a part of it. She believes planting and taking care of trees is a great social responsibility that benefits the environment.

    Shankar Mahadevan nominated Shreya Ghoshal to participate in the GIC initiative, and she plans to nominate three more individuals on Twitter. Karunakar Reddy and Raghavendra Yadav, the co-founders of GIC, were also present during the planting event.
