    Joginipalli Santosh Kumar, the founder of Green India Challenge, has been recognized by the Limca Book of Records for his outstanding achievement in social service. The Limca Book of Records acknowledges the accomplishments of Indians in various fields, including Education, Literature, Cinema, Science, Technology, and more. Santosh Kumar was selected for this prestigious award for his efforts in undertaking a massive plantation drive in just one hour. The certificate was presented to him by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday.

    The Green India Challenge, under the leadership of Santosh Kumar, planted 3,54,900 saplings with the participation of 16,900 people in just one hour at Durga Nagar in Adilabad district on July 4, 2021. Each participant planted 21 saplings, making it the best feat in this category till date. The organization praised Green India Challenge for making the plantation program a big success, which is a proof of collective effort and social awareness.

    Santosh Kumar expressed his gratitude towards Adilabad MLA JoguRamanna, who took the decision to plant saplings as part of the Green India Challenge on his birthday and planted more than 3.5 lakh saplings within an hour. The efforts of Ramanna and his followers are noteworthy. This record was made possible due to special efforts made for one month.

    Getting ‘Green India Challenge’ a place in the Limca Book of Records and receiving the certificate from the hands of the CM KCR increased the responsibility of Santosh Kumar towards his mission. The organization’s special initiative has set an example for others to follow and has contributed to creating a greener and healthier environment for all.
