    The Ratnadeep Grand Ganesha Awards, 2023 – Season 4, were presented by Additional DGP (CID) Mahesh Bhagwat at Club Botanika, Kondapur on Saturday. This event was organized by Lions Clubs International, in collaboration with the department of Language & Culture and powered by The Hans India & Bizz Buzz, in association with Telangana Tourism & Hyderabad City Police. It was an initiative by Lions Club of Hyderabad Yuva. Around 50 gated communities from the city participated in the competition.

    The purpose of these awards is to recognize the efforts of those who work hard, sometimes for 6 months before the festivities, to create beautiful Ganeshas. The Lions Club’s focus goes beyond family and business, and they aim to serve society. Each year, they award the communities that create outstanding Ganeshas.

    The Grand Ganesha Committee convenor, Lion Dr Saurabh Surekha, emphasized the importance of cultural unity and sustainable initiatives in gated communities and society as a whole. This event aimed to showcase the fusion of cultures and ethnicities in a rapidly growing cosmopolitan city like Hyderabad while preserving traditions and promoting sustainability.
