    Hyderabad: State Governor CP Radhakrishnan has sent his greetings to the people of Telangana as they celebrate the Bonalu festival.

    In a message from Raj Bhavan, he expressed his heartfelt wishes. “I extend my heartiest wishes to the people of Telangana on the auspicious occasion of the State festival, Bonalu,” he said.

    Radhakrishnan highlighted that the Bonalu festival showcases Telangana’s unique culture. It is a time of diversified living and divine worship of Yellamma, also known as Mahankali Matha, the goddess of nature and environment.

    He also prayed to goddess Yellamma for the health, wellbeing, peace, and development of all people in India and Telangana.
