The Telangana assembly sessions have begun, and the state government will present the budget for the financial year 2024-25. Currently, State Governor Tamilisai is addressing both Houses. BRS chief and former CM KCR was not present at the meeting on Thursday. The Governor started his speech with a poem by Kaloji.
In his speech, the Governor highlighted the following points:
– The government is working according to the people’s aspirations.
– People have been given an opportunity to voice their problems.
– The state has a government elected by the people.
– Efforts are being made to fix the economy of the rich state that was ruined.
– Two out of six guarantees are already being implemented by the government.
– All guarantees will be implemented in due time.
– Two more guarantees will be implemented soon.
– The government will provide 200 units of free electricity and free travel for women through the Mahalakshmi scheme.
– Eligible individuals will receive a Rs. 500k gas cylinder.
– Praja Bhavan is being utilized for the people’s benefit.
– The government has focused on creating 2 lakh jobs.
– Support will be given to small and middle-class industries, and a new policy for MSME will be introduced.
– The Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project will be completed.
– Hyderabad will be developed as the AI capital of the country.
– TS PSC is being cleaned up.
– Green energy will be promoted, and carbon emissions will be reduced.
– Internet will be provided to every household.
– 10 to 12 pharma villages will be established in the state.
– A new investment of Rs. 40 thousand crores will be made.
– The government will ensure that the burden of taxes does not fall on the people.
– A white paper on the financial situation was released during the last assembly sessions.
