Governor and Chief Minister Extend Christmas Greetings
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy conveyed warm wishes to the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.
In his message, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma highlighted the significance of Christmas as a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. He praised Jesus’ life and teachings, which embody love, forgiveness, truth, compassion, brotherhood, and sacrifice. The Governor expressed hope that this Christmas would bring joy, love, peace, and prosperity to everyone. He encouraged people to embrace the spirit of Christmas by striving to make the world more peaceful and compassionate. “On this occasion, I wish all of you a happy and merry Christmas,” he added.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also shared his Christmas greetings, emphasizing the timeless relevance of Jesus Christ’s teachings. He noted that Jesus’ message of love, peace, tolerance, and service to others serves as a guiding principle for humanity. The Chief Minister stated that the government is committed to promoting the welfare and development of all communities, including Christian minorities, in alignment with Jesus’ teachings. He encouraged the Christian community to celebrate the festival with joy and happiness across the state.
