The vice president of TSCAB (TS Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd.), Kothakurma Sattaiah, welcomed the State cabinet’s decision to approve a Rs 31,000 crore farm loan waiver in Hyderabad. This decision was described as historic by Sattaiah, who also serves as the chairman of DCCB (District Cooperative Central Bank), Ranga Reddy.
Sattaiah stated that the government’s decision would help clear the loans of 46,000 farmers from the Ranga Reddy district alone. He commended the ruling Congress party and praised the present State government, led by Revanth Reddy, for proving itself as a regime that fulfills its promises made during elections.
The approval of the farm loan waiver is seen as a significant step towards supporting farmers in the region and providing them with financial relief. Sattaiah expressed gratitude for the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of farmers and implementing measures to improve their livelihoods.
