    Minister Ponnam Prabhakar Visits Husnabad Town for Praja Palana Ward Sabha

    Karimnagar: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar attended the Praja Palana ward sabha held in the 15th ward of Husnabad town on Thursday to address various developmental and welfare initiatives.

    The Minister announced that the government is working on developing software to ensure a continuous process for issuing ration cards. He assured that the distribution of ration cards and Indiramma houses would be done without interference, and all eligible individuals would receive benefits. “Officials should collect applications from everyone during gram sabhas and identify those who qualify,” he emphasized.

    Addressing farmers’ concerns, the Minister reminded the gathering that crop loans exceeding Rs. 2 lakhs are yet to be waived off. He stated that a schedule will be provided in March, ensuring that farmers’ loans are cleared. He also encouraged citizens to voice their concerns in a democratic manner, starting by bringing issues to the attention of authorities.

    Later, the Minister laid the foundation stone for two new projects in Husnabad town. A Sewing Machine Training Centre building will be constructed at the Rythu Vedika in the 6th ward at a cost of Rs. 45 lakhs. Additionally, a mini sports hall will be built at Yellamma Bazaar with an estimated budget of Rs. 45 lakhs.

    The event saw the participation of several notable figures, including District Collector M. Manu Chowdhury, Library Chairman Lingamurthy, Reddy Association President Kamalakar Reddy, Munnuru Kapu Association President Milkuru Kannaiah, RDO Ramurthy, and Municipal Chairman Akula Rajitha, among others.
