Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu announced on Monday that the government is dedicated to fulfilling all the promises made in the Congress manifesto. He assured the public that there is no need to worry about any delays or doubts in this regard.
The Minister emphasized that the government will implement the six key guarantees mentioned in the manifesto. He explained that these would be put into action step-by-step. Sridhar Babu made these remarks during the 14th anniversary celebrations of Mee Seva, held at RTC Kalabhavan. He also criticized the ten-year rule of the BRS party, claiming that it has harmed the State in many ways. He expressed confidence that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress government would bring improvements and deliver positive results for the people.
Sridhar Babu also accused opposition parties of spreading false information to create confusion among the public. He urged people not to believe such misinformation. The Minister reminded everyone that it was the Congress government that first introduced Mee Seva in 2011, offering transparent online services to the public. This initiative was launched to help people avoid frequent trips to mandal or district offices. He also mentioned that new services would soon be added to the existing ones.
The Minister called on Mee Seva staff to serve the public with greater humility and dedication. He revealed that the government is considering setting up a welfare board for Mee Seva employees. Addressing concerns about the welfare and job security of the 4,754 staff members working in Mee Seva centers across the State, he assured that the government would review these issues.
The event was attended by several important figures, including TGTSC Chairman Manne Satish, Mee Seva Commissioner Ravikiran, and other officials such as Deputy Directors Varalakshmi, Vijay Bhaskar, and Bhaskar. Federation leaders Shankar, Abdul Mohammed, Balaraju, Srinivas, Shekhar Reddy, and Naresh were also present at the anniversary celebration.
