The Miss World 2025 pre-event press conference took place on March 21 at The Tourism Plaza Hotel. This marked the beginning of a series of grand events leading up to the pageant finale.
The Miss World contestants will arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on May 6 and 7, where they will receive a grand traditional welcome.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for May 10 at 6:30 PM at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. The event will feature vibrant Telangana folk and tribal dance performances in a parade-style theme, showcasing the state’s rich cultural heritage.
On May 12, contestants from Group 4 (Asia & Oceania) will embark on a spiritual tour to Nagarjunasagar, where they will visit Buddhavanam, a Buddhist theme park.
The contestants will then participate in a heritage walk at Charminar and Laadbazar on May 13 from 6 PM to 7 PM. Later that evening, a welcome dinner will be hosted at Chowmahalla Palace from 7 PM to 10 PM, featuring a live musical concert.
On May 14, Group 1 (Americas & Caribbean) contestants will engage with students and communities at Kaloji Kala Kshetram in Warangal from 11 AM to 2 PM. Later, they will visit Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and witness a Perini dance performance from 5 PM to 7 PM.
On May 15, Group 2 (Europe) contestants will go on a spiritual tour to Yadagirigutta Temple from 12 PM to 2 PM. Later in the day, they will experience Telangana’s handloom industry during an experiential tour at Pochampally, a UNWTO-recognized village, from 4 PM to 6 PM.
On May 16, Group 3 (Africa & Middle East) contestants will participate in a medical tourism tour, visiting prominent hospitals in Hyderabad, including Apollo, AIG, and Yashoda Hospitals.
The Miss World Sports Finale will take place on May 17 from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Later that evening, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, contestants will attend a cultural sundowner event at Experium Eco Tourism Park, featuring music, dance, food, and art.
On May 19, the contestants will visit Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGICCC) to learn about safety tourism initiatives and Telangana’s growth story. Later, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, they will visit Tank Bund, Ambedkar Statue, and Secretariat premises.
The Continental Finale, where contestants will compete in region-specific selections, will be held at T-Hub on May 20 and 21 from 9 AM to 5 PM.
On May 21 from 6 PM to 8 PM, contestants will join an arts & crafts workshop at Shilparamam, where they will experience Telangana’s traditional crafts.
The Miss World Talent Finale will take place on May 22 from 7 PM to 10 PM at Shilpakala Vedika. The Head-to-Head Challenge Finale will follow on May 23 from 9 AM to 12 PM at Indian School of Business, Gachibowli.
The Miss World Top Model & Fashion Finale will be held at HITEX on May 24 from 7 PM to 10 PM, featuring an interactive session with Telangana fashion designers. A Jewellery/Pearl Fashion Show will take place at the same venue on May 25.
The ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ event will be hosted at British Residency/Taj Falaknuma on May 26 from 7 PM to 10 PM, with dance and cultural performances, as well as a Telangana cuisine food festival.
The Miss World Grand Finale will be held at HITEX on May 31, starting with a red carpet event at 5:30 PM, followed by the main event and the Miss World Coronation Gala from 10 PM to 1 AM.
Finally, on June 2, the Miss World winners will meet the Governor and Chief Minister for High Tea at Raj Bhavan, coinciding with Telangana’s State Formation Day celebrations.
