Government teachers no longer required to seek prior permission to write TET

The Education Department in Hyderabad clarified that government teachers in the State can take the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) without needing prior permission.

Reports had suggested that government teachers participating in the TET exam would require permission from the Education Department, causing confusion and hesitation among them.

The Education Department has now stated that government teachers do not need to get permission from the department to appear in the TET exam.
