The Chairperson of the Telangana Education Commission Committee, Akunuri Murali, announced that the government is working on improving the education system by providing necessary facilities to schools across the state of Telangana.

He highlighted that the Chief Minister is focused on improving primary education and stressed the importance of hiring more teachers to address the student-teacher ratio. Murali also pointed out the need for better transportation to help students from rural areas reach schools and colleges more easily.

During the meeting, several concerns were raised by students, parents, and teachers. Parents discussed the importance of promoting awareness about the value of education and the need to send children to school. Some attendees suggested establishing high schools in every village and expanding junior colleges in the region.

Murali also proposed the idea of setting up DIET and DEd colleges in Gadwal and providing hostel facilities for college students, which would help support higher education in the district.

Additionally, members of the commission suggested a special education package for Jogulamba Gadwal district, particularly for Gattu and KT Doddi mandals, where literacy rates are currently low.

A total of 109 issues were presented to the commission for review and consideration.

Later, District Collector BM Santosh expressed optimism, saying that the commission’s visit would help improve the literacy rate in the district.
