The state government in Hyderabad has approved transfers for teaching and non-teaching staff in government degree, junior, and polytechnic colleges. The transfers will apply to employees at institutions under the Commissioners of Collegiate and Technical Education and Director of Intermediate Education. Detailed guidelines have been issued, and transfers will happen immediately. They will be based on online web counseling for each new district, zone, and multizone, following the New Presidential Orders of 2018.

For trained NCC officers/ANOs, physical counseling will be conducted where NCC units are present. The Commissioners of Collegiate and Technical Education and the Director of Intermediate Education will announce the transfer schedule from July 16 to 31. Employees who have completed five years at a particular station as of June 30 will be transferred. Those who have completed two years by June 30 are also eligible to apply for transfers. However, employees retiring by June 30 will not be transferred unless they request it specifically.
