Government junior colleges in Hyderabad are offering remedial classes to help students prepare for the upcoming inter-advanced supplementary exams. These classes are specifically for students who will be taking the intermediate public advanced supplementary examinations starting on May 24.
During the last round of exams, only 49.13% of the 77,022 second-year students from 410 government junior colleges passed. The pass rate for first-year intermediate students in these colleges was even lower, at 38.21% out of 69,653 students. In response to these low pass rates, colleges are being instructed to hold remedial classes to better prepare students for the supplementary exams.
A senior officer from a government junior college mentioned that remedial classes are a yearly occurrence, aimed at helping students succeed in their exams. The goal is to increase the pass percentage in the upcoming supplementary exams by providing additional support and resources to students who may be struggling.
