Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy has urged government employees to stay united, emphasizing that they are all part of one fraternity. He made these remarks during the unveiling of the Telangana Gazetted Officers Association (TGO) New Year calendar and diary at the IDOC District Collector’s Office in Mahbubnagar. The event was attended by District Collector Vijayendra Boyi and other officials.
During his speech, the MLA criticized the governance of the past ten years, calling it a period of monarchy. He claimed that employees were not allowed to speak freely in the previous administration, and those who fought for their rights were charged with cases. He also pointed out the vital role that employees played in achieving Telangana statehood, highlighting their participation in the Sakala Janula Samme (general strike) and their continuous efforts.
Srinivas Reddy assured government employees that the current administration sees them as partners in rebuilding Telangana, not just as subordinates. He stressed that, unlike before, the present government does not interfere in employees’ internal matters.
As part of the event, the MLA paid floral tributes to Santh Sevawala Maharaj on his birth anniversary, honoring his contributions to society.
