    Government agrees to public demand, forms new mandals in Adilabad

    The people of Adilabad district have been demanding the creation of new mandals to improve administration and solve legal issues in remote areas. Their demand has finally been fulfilled as the government recently issued an official order (GO) approving the formation of new mandals.

    The residents of Jainath, Bhoraj, and Sonala celebrated the establishment of their new mandals. District Collector Rajarshi Shah and Additional Collector Shyamala Devi inaugurated the administration of these mandals and handed over responsibilities to the newly appointed officials. Satnala and Bhoraj mandals were officially opened on Wednesday, while Sonala mandal was inaugurated on Thursday. People in these areas were happy to have easier access to government services.

    New Mandal Offices Opened

    In line with the state government’s promise, preparations for setting up the new mandals in Adilabad district had been going on for the past week. Office spaces were arranged for the key administrative officers in different buildings.

    In Satnala mandal, the MPDO and tahsildar offices were set up in the Irrigation and Fisheries department buildings. In Bhoraj, these offices were accommodated in the Panchayat Raj building and a school building. Similarly, in Sonala, the officials were provided space in some rooms of the Zilla Parishad School.

    Appointment of New Officers

    The District Collector issued official orders appointing officers to the newly formed mandals.

    Venkataraju, who was previously the MPO of Jainath, has been assigned as the officer for Satnala. Venu, the former ZP superintendent, will now serve as the MPDO of Bhoraj, while Rajeshwar, who was the Both superintendent, has been appointed as the MPDO of Sonala.

    For the tahsildar positions, Anna L Rajeshwari, who was the deputy tahsildar of Jainath, has taken charge as the Bhoraj tahsildar. Madavi Vishwanath, previously working in the Enforcement department, has been appointed as the tahsildar of Satnala. Mallesh, the former deputy tahsildar of Boath mandal, is now the tahsildar of Sonala.

    Additionally, officers from the Agriculture and other departments have also been reassigned to these new mandals to ensure smooth administration.
