Mahabubabad: A goods train derailed near Kesamudram in Mahabubabad district. The goods train was traveling from Vijayawada to Kajipet via Kesamudram-Intikanne railway stations when it derailed. As a result, the goods guard’s coach and another coach got detached, causing the engine to derail.
Fortunately, the guard immediately informed the loco pilot. After traveling a few kilometers, the loco pilot stopped the train. He then disconnected the affected coach and continued the journey. The detached coach was left behind and the train proceeded from there. This incident comes after three train accidents occurred at Bahanga Bazaar railway station in Odisha last month.
