Gold-Plated Panels Installation Begins at Yadagirigutta Temple
The process of installing gold-plated panels on the temple tower (vimana gopuram) of the famous Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple began on Wednesday. The temple priests performed traditional rituals to mark the beginning of this significant work.
The gold-plated panels were designed and crafted by Smart Creations, a company based in Chennai. After being brought to the temple, the panels were placed in the temple’s main hall (mandapam), where special rituals were carried out according to the Pancharatra Agama Shastra. Once the rituals were completed, the installation process officially began at an auspicious time.
Officials have set a goal to finish installing the gold panels before the temple’s Brahmotsavam festival, which is scheduled for next year. This timeline is seen as an important milestone for the temple’s beautification and spiritual significance.
Before the installation work started, special rituals were conducted for the gold-plated panels. Key officials, including Collector Hanumantha Rao, YTDA Vice Chairman Kishan Rao, hereditary trustee B. Narasimha Murthy, and Executive Officer Bhaskar Rao, participated in the ceremonies to oversee the initiative.
