The Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta is set to receive new gold-plated kalashas. These will replace the existing copper kalashas on the Ashtbhuji Prakaramandapa.
Similarly, the kalashas at the Vaikuntha Dwaram, which is located along the stairway at the foothill, will also be replaced with gold-plated ones.
The installation of these new kalashas will take place during the Maha Kumbha Samprokshana Mahotsavam. This special event is scheduled to be held from February 19 to 23 as part of the Swarna Vimana Gopuram consecration ceremony.
According to Executive Officer Bhaskar Rao, a total of 39 gold-plated kalashas will be placed on the Vimanas atop the Ashtbhuji Prakara Mandapa and the Vaikuntha Dwaram Gopuram.
