He emphasized that this addition strengthens Hyderabad’s global presence and will enhance tourism and trade. He also mentioned GHIAL’s commitment to transforming the airport into a world-class hub with improved infrastructure and strategic partnerships.

VietJet Vice President Do Xuan Quang highlighted the importance of India as a key market for the airline. This direct flight is expected to boost tourism, as Vietnam has become a popular destination for Indian travelers. The country offers beautiful beaches, lively cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and rich cultural experiences. The new route makes travel more convenient by removing layovers and reducing travel time.

From an economic perspective, Hyderabad’s strong IT and pharmaceutical industries stand to benefit from easier access to Vietnam’s growing economy. The direct flight will help businesses collaborate, strengthen trade relations, and increase investment opportunities between the two regions.

Additionally, the flight enhances regional connectivity. Since Vietnam serves as a gateway to Southeast Asia, travelers from Hyderabad can now easily reach other destinations in the region. The new non-stop service provides a hassle-free and cost-effective way to explore Vietnam and beyond.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport continues to be a key hub in the region, offering world-class facilities and seamless travel experiences for passengers.
