    GITAM Deemed to be University in Hyderabad celebrated Achievers’ Day recently to recognize the outstanding achievements of its students in placements and higher studies. The Career Guidance Center organized the event, where deserving students received appointment offers and admission letters, highlighting the university’s dedication to academic excellence and overall development.

    A total of 180 companies took part in the recruitment drive at GITAM, Hyderabad Campus, with 150 companies successfully completing the recruitment process. Students from various schools of GITAM secured placements in well-known companies across different sectors, while others chose to pursue higher studies and gained admission to prestigious universities nationally and internationally.

    One remarkable achievement was by Reeti Dutta Choudhury, a final year Bachelor of Science student, who secured the 333rd rank in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM-2024). This achievement demonstrates the academic excellence and abilities of GITAM students at a national level. Many students also secured internships with top companies, leading to post-internship placements with attractive packages.

    The majority of eligible students from diverse academic backgrounds such as BTech, MTech, BBA, BCom, MBA, BPharmacy, BSc., MSc., and BA have been successfully placed in IT Services, Product development, Core Industries, and Pharmaceutical companies. The highest package offered to Technology students reached Rs. 15 Lakhs per annum (LPA), while Management students secured a package of Rs. 14.13 LPA, and Science students received offers of Rs. 7.25 LPA.

    The Achievers’ Day Celebration featured guest speakers like Amit Sinha, Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Accenture; Joshua David, India Campus Lead at MPHASIS; Anshuman Saran, Associate Vice President at Aurobindo Pharma; T.Nirajkumar, Head-Corporate HR & Admin at RAK Ceramics; and Srinivasa Rao Patnala, Global Delivery Head at L&T Technology Services. They advised the achievers to continue learning and be constant learners in order to succeed in their careers.
