    Girls Can Achieve Anything with Determination: DEO Ramesh Kumar

    Nagar Kurnool: Girls can reach any goal in life if they have determination, perseverance, and strong willpower, said Nagar Kurnool District Education Officer (DEO) A. Ramesh Kumar.

    On Monday, he attended the annual celebrations of Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ School in Thimmajipeta Mandal as the chief guest.

    During the event, DEO Ramesh Kumar highlighted the importance of girls’ education. He said that the main aim of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) is to empower girls through education. He also praised the students for their exceptional talent and stressed that organizing such programs helps develop their skills further.

    “Anyone who has a dream must have the courage and determination to make it come true. It doesn’t matter where you come from; what matters is how big your goal is and how much effort you put in to achieve it,” he said.

    He encouraged the students to excel not only in academics but also in sports, physical education, and other essential skills.

    The DEO also spoke about the stress that students face due to low marks or failures in Class 10 and 12 exams. He advised them not to lose hope but to see failures as challenges and work harder to succeed.

    Later, students who performed well in sports and cultural activities were awarded mementos.

    The DEO also distributed pens and writing pads to Class 10 students preparing for board exams and motivated them to perform well and make their school proud.

    The event featured cultural performances by KGBV students, which captivated the audience.

    Officials present at the event included Girls’ Education Development Officer Shobha Rani, Textbook Manager Narasimhulu, Mandal Education Officer Satyanarayana Shetty, Special Officer of KGBV Sujatha, along with KGBV teachers, staff, and students.
