GHMC has demolished 439 illegal buildings in Hyderabad. The commissioner, Ronald Rose, is committed to cracking down on unauthorized constructions. Developers are urged to follow the rules set by TS-bPASS when planning new projects.

A task force supervised by zonal commissioners is actively identifying illegal layouts and structures. TS-bPASS, introduced in 2020, has simplified the building permission process in Telangana by offering online verification for residential buildings meeting specific criteria.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has been demolishing illegal structures in the past three months as part of its efforts to enforce urban planning regulations. Commissioner Ronald Rose stated that 439 illegal buildings have been taken down during this period, emphasizing the corporation’s dedication to addressing unauthorized constructions.
