    The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Standing Committee met and approved 14 development proposals. The meeting, chaired by City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, included discussions on various civic issues and pending development works. The Income and Expenditure Report of GHMC from August 31, 2023 to January 31, 2024, was also presented.

    During the meeting, the standing committee agreed to shift utilities for the construction of a high-level bridge over Moosarambagh Musi River. Additionally, 14 projects, including 5 MOUs, were signed with United Way of Hyderabad Agency for various development works in different areas.

    The committee also assigned restoration and maintenance tasks for ponds in different areas to organizations under CSR for 24 months. An implementation of GIS-based survey mapping for properties and utilities under GHMC limits was also approved.

    Furthermore, the committee decided to hold meetings every Thursday after the Lok Sabha elections. Approved projects included laying a 1600 mm pipeline for drainage from Ellamma pond in Kukatpally and forming ad-hoc committees on sanitation and advertisements in GHMC.
