The GHMC in Hyderabad has started a new initiative for door-to-door collection of Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste. This initiative aims to help reduce air pollution, protect water bodies, prevent flooding, and preserve natural resources. Citizens can use paid services for proper disposal of C&D waste by contacting GHMC authorised agencies through the GHMC website or My GHMC App.

The GHMC is collecting C&D waste area-wise in different circles. Residents in certain circles can contact a toll-free number or WhatsApp for C&D waste pickup services. Citizens are advised to store their C&D waste near the gate within their premises for easy removal by GHMC’s authorised waste management agency after making the necessary payment.
