    Samantha shares five interesting behind-the-scenes stories from the sets of ‘Shaakuntalam’

    Actress Samantha Akkineni has shared five intriguing behind-the-scenes stories from the sets of her upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’. The actress took to her Instagram handle to reveal some fascinating details about the making of the film.

    In one of the stories, Samantha revealed that she had to learn a new language for the film. She said, “I had to learn Sanskrit for the film. It was not easy, but it was a beautiful experience.”

    In another story, she spoke about the challenges of shooting in extreme weather conditions. “We had to shoot in extreme heat and rain. But the team was so supportive and we managed to get through it,” she said.

    Samantha also shared that she had to undergo a physical transformation for her role in the film. “I had to lose weight and look lean for the role. It was a challenge, but I am happy with the way it turned out,” she said.

    Talking about her co-star Dev Mohan, Samantha said, “Dev is an amazing actor and it was a pleasure working with him. We had a great chemistry on screen.”

    Lastly, Samantha thanked the director Gunasekhar for giving her the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful film. “I am grateful to Gunasekhar sir for casting me in this film. It was a dream come true for me,” she said.

    ‘Shaakuntalam’ is a mythological drama directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna and Dil Raju. The film also stars Dev Mohan, Aditi Balan, and Mohan Babu in pivotal roles.
