The Vinayaka immersion festival is currently taking place in Hyderabad. Authorities have reported that the immersion process is going smoothly and peacefully. This year, the immersion of idols in the South East and South West regions of the city is happening faster than in previous years.

Police Commissioner CV Anand mentioned that they have taken timely steps to ensure a smooth immersion. He said, “We are working closely with the mandapa (pandal) management to make sure the idols are immersed on time. The immersion of the famous Balapur Ganesha is expected to happen soon.”
